First task of the day

Published on 8 March 2025 at 16:54

How to make a map.

The opening scene of the movie is what sets your mood and keeps you watching.

Your first task of the day sets your state of mind ... and keeps you GOING.

Don't delay your progress!

Most people give up because they focus too much on what's hard rather than what's possible.

You should

Commit small steps to achieve great ideas.

It doesn't have to be hard.

Start small and commit.

Thinkark made a long-term commitment to become a social development network.

Both me and you work on this together.

This is a process where I learn to provide a daily reminder for you.

My first task of the day is writing a ThinkDaily reminder in the Think about section.

But that wasn't my first task of the day 2 years ago...

I started small.

I didn't need to start big.

Just

Think of an idea.

Try something.

Charge up

Get some fresh air.

The first thing everybody should be doing is getting some fresh air and water into their system.

Serve your body well.

Map it out

The second thing everybody should be doing is getting an idea of what their day will look like.

If you don't have a picture in mind... Make a map.

Setting a schedule and making a plan is boring...

Create maps instead.

Maps are exciting, in maps you search for treasure.

Here's how to create a map the right way.

How it works

1.In the big circle write your idea or goal.

2.Fill in the 4 circles around your idea.

Answer in one single word!

Scaling down makes things more achievable.

a. (LEFT CIRCLE) Describe your idea as something simple.

  • What does it do?
  • What does it have?

b. (2 LEFT CIRCLE) What do you want to do with that something.

  • What do you want?
  • What do other people want?

c. (RIGHT CIRCLE) What do you need to make the idea work.

  • What do you need to get?

d. (2 RIGHT CIRCLE) What do you need to do to make the idea work.

  • What do you need to do?

3. Fill in the 2 circles below.

(RED CIRCLE) What are your challenges.

  • What don't you know - how to do.

(GREEN CIRCLE) What are your strengths.

  • What can you do.

4. Create map.

(RECTANGLE) What can you start doing today.

5. Circle your first task of the day.

Start small at the top of your list and take note of your progress by checking things of.

That's it for today.

Time to move on to our second task.

What's your first task of the day?
