4-7-8 breathing requires to focus on taking long, deep breaths in and out.

 

The main point is to create a rhythm.

  • breath in quietly through your nose (4 seconds)

 

  • hold your breath (7 seconds)

 

  • exhale deeply through your mouth and let go off all the air inside your body (8 seconds)

 

  • repeat the cycle (4 times)
